Premium hair deserves proper care. Follow these guidelines to preserve texture, shine, and longevity. Treated correctly, PREVAIL hair will last through multiple installs.

Before Installation
Before installing your PREVAIL extensions, we recommend washing and conditioning the hair to restore moisture. This prepares the hair for optimal styling and blending.
Washing Your Extensions
To maintain softness and prevent buildup, wash your extensions every 10-15 days or as needed.
Recommended Method
1. Detangle the hair starting from the ends and working upward.
2. Saturate the hair with lukewarm water.
3. Apply sulfate-free shampoo and smooth it downward through the hair.
4. Rinse and follow with a moisturizing conditioner.
5. Let the conditioner sit for 8-10 minutes before rinsing.
6. Gently squeeze excess water with a microfiber towel.
7. Allow hair to air dry whenever possible.

PREVAIL extensions can be styled just like natural hair. Proper daily care helps extend the lifespan of your PREVAIL hair.
• Brush gently 1–2 times per day using an extension-safe brush.
• Use lightweight serum for moisture every 7-10 days.
• Use moderate heat when curling or straightening.
• Always apply a heat protectant before heat styling.
• Avoid excessive heat to preserve the hair’s longevity.
Night Care
Protecting your hair at night prevents tangling and dryness.
• Gently detangle before bed.
• Braid the hair loosely, place it in a low ponytail or roll in overnight foam curlers .
• Sleep with a silk or satin scarf or bonnet to preserve moisture and minimize friction.

Before storing your hair:
1. Clean the hair first
Gently wash and condition the hair to remove product buildup.
2. Allow the hair to dry completely
Never store extensions while damp, as this can cause odor or damage.
3. Prepare the hair for storage
Lightly braid the bundles or secure them in a loose loop to prevent tangling.
